This past Saturday the New Haven Rugby club held a sevens rugby tournament at Quinnipiac Park. The Cheshire U-19 team came in second place, losing to Greenwich in the finals 20-5. The road to the final came easy with big wins over The Renegades, a team from Xavier Prep in NYC and Springfield, MA U-19. Cody Nugent-Captain, Kyle Bickell, Craig Thorne, Matt Kleinberg, Will Droheim, Tucker Bartone, Dan Barnes, Andrew Kaczmarek, Christian Hage, Eric Rothbart and Andrew Sams made up the Cheshire side. Rothbart, Bickell and Bartone led the scoring attack with 4 tries each for the day.
