Order forms for equipment

To all parents and players,

Order forms were passed out on Sunday. If you need another form it has been posted under the document tab. Please print a copy and fill out. Orders need to be in by Thursday, March 11th.

Directions: There is a lot of equipment options, but there are only a few things that are mandatory.

1. White shorts
2. Black socks
3. Mouthguard

It might be a good idea to have black shorts to use in practice.

Head gear is mandatory for those players who have had concussions in the past. Headgear should be snug on a players head. You can also go to www.worldrugbyshop.com to order head gear. They have some in youth sizes.

Headgear and shoulder padding are not madatory but highly suggested.

Recommended you don't buy balls from this order form.

Practice for this week

Practice schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, March 9th at Quinnipiac Fields from 3:30-5:30 (make sure you wear sneakers, not cleats)

Wednesday, March 10th at CHS track from 3:30-5:30 (meet at the East Gym first)

Thursday, March 11th at Quinnipiac Fields from 3:30-5:30

Again, you will need to wear sneakers for practice on all three days.

BBC America televises 6Nations Rugby

If your cable provider has the BBC America channel you will be able to watch some of the 2010 6 Nations games. Here is the schedule:

Saturday, February 6, 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT

2009’s Champion Ireland versus France (in Paris)

Ireland versus England (in London)
Saturday, February 27, 11:00am ET/8:00am PT

Wales versus Ireland (in Dublin)
Saturday, March13, 9:30am ET/6:30am PT

England versus France (in Paris)
Saturday, March 20, 9:00am ET/6:00am PT

To become a better player you need to watch better players. Not only is the 6Nations enjoyable to watch and intense, but is a valuable learning to tool to better yourselves as players.
